"Fighting Ships of the U.S.A.: Tydol Book of Navy Stamps" -- complete 24 page scan (PDF/OCR)

This page lists World War II Poster Stamps from the "Fighting Ships of the U.S.A.: Tydol Book of Navy Stamps" produced in 1942 by Whitman Publishing Co. The individual stamps are listed in order of the "#" in a white circle that is printed on each stamp, which is also the order they are listed in the 7-1/2" x 4-3/4" album that was sold to house the stamps. I have not yet seen an empty album without any stamps stuck down in the unique blank place designated for each stamp. Each blank space in the album notes the name of the ship and the "Stamp No." on the stamp, and a "Series" letter which only appears in the album. As the only album I own has 20 stamps stuck down and 12 blank spaces, I do not know yet, the Series letter for all 32 of these stamps. In the album I own and from scans of sold-out albums on the Web, I have seen Series A-F and H. I don't know yet what each Series stands for, how many Series there are, or how many total stamps there are in each Series.

"Gasoline station customers were given an empty booklet and when they bought gas, they were given a stamp showing the ships of the U.S. Navy to glue into the booklet." (eBay seller's description)

I have not yet seen any of these poster stamps pasted on any World War II era serviced covers.
