      Estelle L. Burroughs (19??-19??) was a member of the American Naval Cover Society (ANCS #841). For a selection of her Naval cachets, see: Greg Ciesielski's Naval Cover Museum. Although she made Naval cachets from 1939 through 1949, no Burroughs FDC cachets are listed in the "Index by Cachetmaker" sections of Mellone's "1940's Catalog", Volume I and II (2nd ed. 1984), for any 1940-1949 issues, other than those listed on this page. I searched the AFDCS FIRST DAYS Digital Archive, and there have been no articles about her from 1955 through June 2023. There are many Estelle Burroughs listed at Ancestry.com, but with no known information about her, other than her name, it is not possible to find a match for her.
