      This page is a Bibliography of FIRST DAYS Columns and other publications Dr. Earl G. Planty wrote before and after (until 1984) the first Volume of the 1st edition of the Planty Photo Catalog was published in 1977. This list shows that Dr. Planty began his "First Day Cachet Catalog" column in 1957, with cachet descriptions but no photos, twenty years before the Photo Catalog finally appeared. His regular "Inside Coverage" column, started in FIRST DAYS in 1960 and in about 1976 it became a separate publication mailed to his Subscribers.
