"The Spirit of '42" Stamp Album

This page displays World War II Poster Stamps from the "The Spirit of '42" Stamp Album produced by The Los Angeles Times in 1942. The individual stamps are listed in order of the Number that is printed on the stamp, which is also the order they are listed in the 7-1/2" x 4-3/4" album that was sold to house the stamps. The artist's name, "© 1942 Martin Allen" appears on all 48 stamps. All covers displayed with two Poster Stamps were serviced by the addressee, Mae Weigand. No proof yet, but she is probably the Cachetmaker.
I have one eBay scan of imperforate stamps, but I have not seen any in person. Every off-cover mint stamp I have seen is perforated. Every stamp I have seen on cover has had its white border trimmed off, so it is not possible to determine whether the stamp had perfs or not.
FYI, for stamp numbers used in filenames, "7a" is a used stamp on cover, and "7b" is a mint stamp, i.e., I do not collect used (no gum) single poster stamps, on- or off-paper.
